How six sigma calculator works
A six sigma calculator measures process quality. It uses your total units, opportunities for defects per unit and actual defects found to work out DPMO and the resulting sigma level.
Limitations of six sigma
- Assumes a stable, well-defined process
- Needs accurate defect and opportunity counts
- Less suited to small sample sizes
- Does not account for customer perception of quality
